The SAGA1-L4 is a complete industrial radio remote control system with four single-speed channels. It ships as a ready-to-use package with both transmitter and receiver included, making it a practical and cost-effective solution for straightforward crane, hoist, and winch applications.

Four single-speed channels give operators direct control over four independent movements — typically up, down, left, and right. Each channel is either on or off (no proportional speed control), which suits applications where simple directional commands are all that's needed. For machinery requiring more control channels, the SAGA1-L10 provides ten single-speed channels in a similar package.

The SAGA1-L4 operates on the 433MHz frequency band with digital coding to prevent cross-activation between systems. The transmitter is battery-powered (standard alkaline batteries, widely available) and housed in a durable plastic enclosure with clearly labelled pushbuttons and an emergency stop. The receiver provides relay outputs for direct connection to contactors or motor starters.

At £220, the SAGA1-L4 sits well below the cost of premium systems like the Ikusi TM701. It is a sensible choice for applications where Ikusi-level build quality and L-Tek technology are not required — for example, lighter-duty hoists, workshop cranes, or agricultural equipment.
