The SAGA1-L10 is a complete industrial radio remote control system with ten single-speed channels. It ships as a paired transmitter and receiver package, ready for installation. With ten independent control channels, the SAGA1-L10 handles complex machinery that demands more than basic directional control.

Ten single-speed channels allow operators to manage multiple movements and auxiliary functions from a single handheld transmitter. A typical configuration might allocate four channels to bridge and trolley travel (up, down, east, west), two channels to hoist (up, down), and the remaining four channels to auxiliary functions such as a secondary hoist, grab open/close, horn, or lighting. Each channel is on/off — there is no proportional speed control — so the SAGA1-L10 is best suited to applications using contactors or single-speed motor starters.

The system operates on the 433MHz band with digital coding, ensuring each transmitter-receiver pair communicates exclusively without interference from other radio systems on site. The transmitter runs on standard alkaline batteries and features a mushroom-head emergency stop. The receiver provides ten relay outputs for direct contactor wiring.

Compared to the SAGA1-L4 (4 channels, £220), the SAGA1-L10 costs more but eliminates the need to compromise on channel count. For operations that may expand in scope, starting with ten channels avoids having to replace the entire system later. If your application only requires basic four-direction control, the SAGA1-L4 offers the same Saga build quality at a lower cost.

For environments where building structure or distance weakens the radio signal, the Saga aerial extension can be added to the receiver to improve range.
