For best shelf life, store partially charged in a cool, dry location — NiMH cells self-discharge at roughly 1-2% per day at room temperature.

We recommend keeping at least one spare BT06K on site. A flat battery means a stopped crane, and downtime costs far more than a replacement pack. Pair with the Ikusi CB70 battery charger for correct charge voltage and current. Using third-party chargers risks overcharging and shortened battery life. If your CB70 charger has an older connector, the Ikusi battery charger adaptor kit provides compatibility with current BT06K packs.
